I’ve ran at various buffer sizes, and stuck to 44.1 since it’s easier on the CPU. I’ve used both the UA-22 driver that Windows automatically finds (matches the latest on Roland’s website) and I’ve tried the ASIO4all WDM wrapper. Here’s what I’ve done: I run SampleTank 3 (either VST2 or 3) in GP2, midi is coming through the audio interface, no audio-in, audio out is routed through the Roland Duo Capture EX. Trying to see if someone here has some help. I’m trying to work with IK support, but it’s slow going. First, I know… Roland drivers are terrible, and yes I’d love an RME, but it’s all I got. For unknown reasons, I must set a Windows Display Scaling value even if it is 100 (no change) or Cakewalk will not start.Ġ5072020_214122.So… I’m trying to use my Roland Duo Capture-EX. Powercycled (completely shutdown) computer and Audio Interface.Ran windows compatability trouble shooter.I tried running Cakewalk as administrator and not as administator.I tried running Cakewalk from the Start Menu.Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of my Audio Interface driver.I checked the Windows > Sound Control Panel and it was reset to the Dell Monitor audio engine so I reset it to my audio interface (RME Fireface 800).This is what I tried so far to solve the problem: None of these solutions worked so far. But I swapped the new Dell monitor with my old monitor and Cakewalk won't startup with the old monitor either. This problem started right after i installed a new Dell Monitor S Series 32" (S3219D). I am in the process of searching the Cakewalk website and the web for a solutions.
The problem does not occur with any other audio or windows applications. The problem occurs with Cakewalk and Sonar X3. then the Cakewalk immediately shuts down. Then the application window opens and in the Control bar, text says "Reset Button". Today when I launch Cakewalk, the Cakewalk flash screen opens.
